Brief Overview
Choline (2-hydroxyethyl-trimethyl ammonium hydroxide), usually classified as complex vitamin B (often called vitamin B4), maintain the physiological functions of animals’ bodies as a low-molecular organic compound that can be synthesized in vivo, but usually required in feed as a single vitamin, the largest demand in feed additive.

Manufacturing Process
Production of choline chloride (CC) powder from a 75% CC solution involves:
(i) Pre-heating the solution in an evaporator to concentrate it to 97% with economical water removal and with the boiling point of the concentrate being raised to 160 °C;
(ii) Either passing the concentrate to a directly-connected mixer and mixing with a carrier, or batchwise mixing with a carrier in a container with temperature up to 135 °C, preventing cooling and crystallising-out; and
(iii) Obtaining a loose, crumbly wet material that can be dried at a low temperature.
Feed grade choline chloride corn cob is used as feed additives for livestock animals with following benefits:
• Prevents abnormal accumulation of fat in liver,
• Prevents condition such as perosin and liver enlargement in chicks,
• Essential requirement to maintain body functions and enhance growth,
• Essential metabolic in the building and maintenance of cell structure, maturation of the cartilage matrix of bone
